Buzz Housekeeping is recruiting reliable, detail-focused House Cleaners on behalf of our clients to keep homes clean, comfortable and welcoming.

About the role

You will carry out household cleaning to an agreed schedule, taking account of each client’s priorities and preferences. You will manage your time effectively, maintain consistent standards and provide a friendly, professional service.

Assignments are available across London and Essex. Your location, availability and ability to travel will help us match you with suitable work.

Your responsibilities

• Dust, polish and wipe accessible surfaces.

• Vacuum carpets and rugs, and sweep and mop hard floors.

• Clean kitchens, including worktops, sinks, cupboard fronts and appliance exteriors.

• Clean and sanitise bathrooms and toilets.

• Empty household bins and replace liners.

• Change bed linen where agreed.

• Complete laundry and ironing tasks where included in the assignment.

• Carry out scheduled deep cleaning within the agreed scope.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following instructions and taking care of delicate surfaces.

• Report damage, maintenance issues, hazards or other concerns promptly.

• Respect clients’ privacy, belongings and home security, including any key-holding arrangements.

Additional tasks, such as cleaning inside ovens, fridges or cupboards, will be agreed in advance.

Previous domestic cleaning experience is desirable, although training is available for suitable applicants.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are helpful for some assignments but are not essential for every role.

Appointments are subject to satisfactory recruitment checks, including references and an appropriate DBS check where required for the assignment.
