Hours: Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible Hours Available

The Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of older people by providing companionship and practical support with everyday tasks.

Please note: This is a non-personal care role. You will not be required to assist with washing, dressing, toileting, medication administration, or any regulated care activities.

Key Duties

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Visiting clients in their homes and carrying out welfare checks
• Assisting with light household duties, including:
  • Cleaning and tidying
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Changing bed linen
• Preparing light meals and refreshments
• Supporting clients with shopping and collecting essentials
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and outings
• Running errands on behalf of clients
• Encouraging independence and social engagement
• Reporting any concerns regarding client wellbeing to management

Requirements

• A caring, patient, and friendly personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Previous experience supporting older people is desirable but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one)
• Right to work in the UK
