Job Description

As a warehouse operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our stores receive their stock on time and online orders are processed efficiently. You will work across the ambient, chilled, and frozen sections of the warehouse, reporting directly to the warehouse manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using appropriate manual handling techniques
• Moving and storing products in the correct areas within the warehouse
• Processing, picking, and packing orders accurately and in line with performance targets
• Inspecting produce to ensure freshness and quality, and promptly reporting any discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate records and reports using our computer systems
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment according to set standards
• Operating a forklift truck to move pallets (training provided if required)
• Adhering to health and safety standards and following company warehouse procedures
